Allow Pop-Ups

If you are using Internet Explorer:

1. Go to the Tools menu.
2. Select Pop-up Blocker. (If this isn't listed, you have a third-party popup blocker. See below.)
3. Click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
   
   
   
4. In the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, type *.cis.unr.edu as the "Address of Web site to allow" and click the Add button.
   
   
   
5. Close the Pop-up Blocker Settings window. Restart Internet Explorer
6. Alternatively, you could click on the link with a pop-up and click on the "Pop-up blocked. To see the pop-up or additional option click here..." and then select "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site". Finally, click "Yes" when the window asking you if you want to do this comes up.
   

If you are using Firefox:

1. On Windows, open the Options dialog under the Tools menu. On Macintosh, open the Preferences dialog under the Firefox menu.
   
   
   
2. Click the Content Tab at the top.
3. Here you should see a checkmark next to the option to block popup windows. Click the Exceptions button to the right of it.
   
   
   
4. Type *.cis.unr.edu as the "address of web site," then click the Allow button
   
   
   
5. Click OK in the Allowed Sites screen, then click OK again for the Options/Preferences screen.
6. Alternatively, you could click on the link with a pop-up and click "Allow pop-ups for www.cis.unr.edu" on the menu that appears
   
   

If you are using Safari:

1. Open the Safari menu.
2. Here you should see the Block Pop-up Windows option checked. Click to uncheck.
   

Third-party popup blockers:

If you have a third-party pop-up blocker, you may need to take additional steps to allow pop-ups.

1. Determine what popup blocker you are using
2. Find its list of allowed sites or exceptions and add *.cis.unr.edu
