Diversity, equity and inclusion statement
As a part of the Student Services Division, the Nevada Career Studio is continually seeking ways to learn, improve and iterate. We believe that inclusion and equity only improve when we listen to voices from all backgrounds. We are committed to creating and sustaining a diverse, inclusive and equitable environment for all students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members from Reno and beyond.
We aim to build an equitable and inclusive culture whereby students and alumni have the opportunity to pursue and explore a meaningful career path regardless of personal background. Every day, our team strives to be inclusive, foster belonging, promote diversity, and create new opportunities and resources for everyone who comes into contact with the Nevada Career Studio Team.
Why do we call ourselves a Studio?
We call ourselves a Studio because this is a space where you make things happen: You practice for an interview, you hit "send" on a job application, you meet with an employer, you learn how to adapt your resume for the job of your dreams. We want to help you take action on your dreams.
Our team is ready to work with you as soon as inspiration hits. No question is too big or small (or too silly) for the Nevada Career Studio Team. We are on the second floor of the Pennington Student Achievement Center. Stop by for in-person help or view our virtual help options.
