Reno is located at the intersection of HWY 395 (north-south) and I-80 (east-west).
Interstate 80 (I-80) is the second-longest Interstate Highway in the United States (after I-90). It connects downtown San Francisco, California, to Teaneck, New Jersey, a suburb of New York City. I-80 is the interstate that most closely approximates the Lincoln Highway, the first automobile road across United States of America.

The Reno-Tahoe International Airport, centrally located in the city of Reno, is the second busiest commercial airport in the state of Nevada after McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Flights to cities like Las Vegas, Boise and Salt Lake City are barely over an hour long. Flights to cities like Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, LA, Seattle are all under two hours.

From the West (San Francisco, Sacramento)

Follow Interstate 80 East to Reno
Take the Downtown Reno/Virginia Street exit (exit 13)
Turn left onto N. Virginia Street
Take second right on E. Ninth street
Take next left, N. Center street, which is the university entrance. An information kiosk is located on the right.

From the East (Salt Lake City)

Follow Interstate 80 West to Reno
Take the Downtown Reno/Virginia Street exit (exit 13)
Make an immediate right onto N. Center Street
The main entrance to the University is one block away, just past E. Ninth Street. Center Street leads directly into the university. An information kiosk is located on the right.

From the North (Susanville)

Follow U.S. Highway 395 South into Reno
Take Downtown Reno (exit 68) junction to Interstate 80 West
Bear right to Reno-Sacramento
On I-80, take the Downtown Reno/Virginia Street exit (exit 13)
Make an immediate right onto N. Center Street
The main entrance to the University is one block away, just past E. Ninth Street. Center Street leads directly into the university. An information kiosk is located on the right.

From the South (Reno-Tahoe Airport, Carson City)

Follow U.S. Highway 395 North into Reno
Take Exit 68, Sacramento/Elko, to Interstate 80 West-Downtown Reno
Take the Downtown Reno/Virginia Street exit (exit 13)
Make an immediate right onto N. Center Street
The main entrance to the University is one block away, just past E. Ninth Street. Center Street leads directly into the university. An information kiosk is located on the right.
